Q: Who prepares the budget?
A: The Board of Directors prepares the budget and publishes it in January after it is adopted.
Q: What goes into creating a budget?
A: The Association income and expenses are reviewed for the last several years and a new budget is created as a result of that review. Income is based upon annual assessments for dues and landscape maintenance, cash carryover from prior year, transfers from the reserve fund, and/or other sources of income. Expenses are based upon approved operating costs found in the approved budget.
